A Drink for the Holidays: Give the Gift of Clean Water

Holiday Cards (97K)During the month of December 2009, A Drink for Tomorrow conducted its "A Drink for The Holidays" campaign, which sold holiday gift cards at $30 and $10 denominations. With each purchase, the buyer received a beautiful holiday gift card, which informed the gift recipient that a donation to A Drink for Tomorrow was made in their name to bring someone clean water either for life (for $30) or for ten years (for $10). Four local stores carried the cards on their shelves to help us in our efforts: In Moorestown, The Cubby Hole and Moorestown Running Company, in Collingswood, Michael Bruce Florist, and in Haddonfield, Animo Juice. This proved to be another very successful campaign that we will surely run again next year!

Arbonne Fundraiser

Arbonne (97K) For the months of October and November, 2009, a local district of Arbonne consultants donated 35% of every item sold on behalf of ADFT. Arbonne, a Swiss company based on botanical principles, offers many product lines ranging from skin care and detox to makeup and nutrition. The products are unparalleled in quality, value and results and have lines specifically for men, babies, teens, and anti-aging and sun care. Arbonne is pure, safe, and beneficial--just what your drinking water should be! This fundraiser helped A Drink for Tomorrow reach its goal of funding its first water project by the organization's first anniversary.

The Wine Cellar

WineCellar_logo (37K)From May 15th, 2009 until June 30th, 2009, A Drink for Tomorrow and The Wine Cellar , located on Branch Pike in Cinnaminson, NJ, donated $.25 per bottle to A Drink for Tomorrow for every bottle sold of South African and South American wine. The owner, Bill Hendrickson, and Mark Stagliano, the general manager, chose wines from these regions for the promotion because, of the regions that produce wine, South Africa and South America are most affected by the global water crisis.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the promotion!
