Our Team
A Drink for Tomorrow is a 100% volunteer-run organization. From Board members and those who manage the day-to-day operations of the organization to interns, no one receives any pay for their efforts, as everyone wants to see as close to 100% of the money we generate go directly into clean water projects as possible.
Take some time to learn about the people who spend their time outside of jobs or classes working to maintain and grow this organization.

Maddie Breslin - Director of Communications and Grant Writing
Maddie earned her BA from Georgetown University in 2008. While in college, living in a city that is commonly believed to have one of the worst school systems in the country, she was first exposed to the educational disparities that exist between impoverished and more affluent communities in the United States. In response to this injustice and in deep appreciation for her own educational opportunities, she dedicated much of her time to working with DC youth, including as a tutor and mentor, and working and volunteering at a public charter school. Learning about the lack of clean drinking water in impoverished communities around the world struck a similar chord, as this need is even more basic.
Maddie began volunteering with ADFT in a general capacity soon after its inception, and is looking forward to contributing to this important cause through writing grants and drafting other communications for ADFT.
Aliza Burns - Executive Assistant
Aliza graduated cum laude from George Washington University in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing as well as Event Management. She has experience in marketing and public relations, grant proposal writing and non-profit administration.

Mimi Bach - K-12 Outreach
Mimi has recently retired from the Collingswood school system in Collingswood, NJ after 33 years of years of service to the district. During her tenure in this small inner ring suburb just east of Camden and Philadelphia, she taught and coached a variety of students from a cross-section of backgrounds and experiences. Dedicated to the concept of social justice issues since her own Catholic high school experience, Mimi spent her career as a Social Studies teacher and coach advocating for community and global awareness, opportunity for all, and individual commitment to making a positive difference in the world around one. Identifying one's gifts and using them to make the world a better place is a shared value of all humanity. After attending an early fundraiser for ADFT, Mimi realized that continuing her work in area classrooms would be a way to continue the mission that she promoted for so many years as a teacher.
Bobbie Herbs - Communications Advisor
Bobbie is a marketing executive at Canoe Ventures, where a cable TV industry consortium is developing interactive television applications and other advanced television solutions. As a runner, she was first introduced to the work of ADFT at the 2010 6K run at Moorestown High School. Considering what it takes to run 3.75 miles; she was impressed and disheartened by the distances many women and children of developing countries must walk for potable water. Meanwhile her daughter is graduating from Moorestown High School and headed to college next year. At this major intersection of life, she began putting her marketing savvy to work for ADFT. In her spare time she's writing news releases and contributing in other ways to get the word out about ADFT's critical mission and continued needs to develop strong relationships among donors and strategic partners.
