Moorestown, NJ-May 20th, 2010-A Drink For Tomorrow announced it will partner with Neal Hughes, a fine art painter of Moorestown, NJ to fund clean water projects. Beginning June 1st, 2010, Neal Hughes will donate $30 - enough to bring an individual clean drinking water for a lifetime - to A Drink for Tomorrow for every print that sells through his website http://www.nealhughes.com/ Water is a prevalent theme in many of Neal's beautiful paintings, and now these paintings will help to bring clean drinking water, an essential tool in the war against poverty, to many who lack this human right. This partnership will raise both awareness for the global water crisis and essential funds to help the 1.2 billion people lacking access to clean water.

Moorestown, NJ resident and A Drink For Tomorrow Founder Stephanie Weaver said, "We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to partner with an artist as talented as Neal Hughes. Neal is the first artist to partner with our organization, and we are so grateful to have a well-respected, local painter supporting our efforts. The fact that Neal is a signature member of the American Society of Marine Artists and that water is the theme of so many of Neal's paintings makes the partnership all the more relevant. The funds generated from this and other similar partnerships will greatly advance our goals of providing clean water to communities in need across the world."

A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Art (University of the Arts), Neal Hughes' paintings are rooted in the American realist tradition as defined by artists such as Winslow Homer, Thomas Eakins and Andrew Wyeth. With a traditional approach to composition and technique his work incorporates contemporary design with a classical sensibility. He has completed major commissions for the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team and The National Civil War Museum and has won numerous awards, including the Maritime Gallery Yachting Award and an Award of Excellence at the prestigious International Marine Art Exhibition at the Gallery at Mystic Seaport.
